A silver thread blazer badge believed to be the first official badge for White Rose Archers has recently been found at Samlesbury Longbow Archers, Preston . Les Wynn, a member of both clubs, was amazed to find it lying on a table in the clubhouse. It is in remarkable condition considering it is over 75 years old. We do not know where it has been for the last 75 years but it has now been returned from the red rose county back to the white rose county for safe keeping.
