A prospective archer gets some friendly advice from Nigel, our Membership Secretary on the "Have-A-Go!"

June 2nd 2007. The weather was great for the Hebden Bridge Cricket Club and White Rose Archer's Fun Day!

Here are a few shots that our intrepid webmaster took between cups of tea and tormenting people.
(Well, everyone has to have some fun sometime don't they?)

"You put your left foot in........" gggg "Once more with feeling"

nnnnnnnnChairman Ian shows us how it should be done

The Deputy Mayoress Welcomed everyone and tried to get the party off to a swing!

I was so impressed I asked him to pose.
(inset) Now, I am no mind reader but my guess is he is thinking "Am I going to regret this?"

VERY deep!
Meanwhile, a panel of experts judged the
Persil v Daz Soap Powder Competition.

Action from the Six-A-Side Cricket Competition.
"How's this?".................

.........."Not out!"

There were "Cricket teas" (sorry, no photo..... I ate the subject matter!), Bat-a-rat, Tombola, Hoop-La and a Can-Shy (are Coconuts out of season?)

Security was tight around the Hoop-la stall.........

This girl was not shy on the Shy!
"We don't bite!"..........."Often".

He had to dig deep
for the £1:50

This pair did well didn't they?
I have been promised other pictures which I will add when I get them. In the mean time, may I on behalf of Hebden Bridge Cricket Club and White Rose Archers, thank everyone who took part or came and supported the event? We hope you enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you again.
